Can I change slides while drawing?

You can. Hold the Fn key to click through to Keynote or PowerPoint without closing Presentify.

Can I draw with an iPad and Apple Pencil?

You can, if your iPad is connected as a second screen through Sidecar, Astropad or Duet.

Will my drawings stay on screen?

Only if you want them to. You can set drawings to fade automatically, or keep them until you clear the screen.

About Presentify Screen Annotation 8.1.3 for Mac

Presentify is made by Ram Patra and published by Softal Limited. It sits in your menu bar. When you turn on annotation, you can draw over anything on screen, including slides, PDFs, videos, code or a web page, without opening another app. Besides drawing, it can put a colored ring around your cursor, dim everything except the area around your pointer, or magnify part of the screen. It works with Zoom, Google Meet, Keynote, PowerPoint and OBS. You can also draw from an iPad using Sidecar. Almost everything can be controlled with keyboard shortcuts.

Key Features

Draw over any app

— You get pens, a highlighter, text, arrows, lines, rectangles and circles, with up to 5 favorite colors or a gradient. Drawings can fade away automatically, which is handy when you only want to point something out.

Interactive Mode

— Hold the Fn key to click through to the app underneath, for example to change slides or pause a video without turning Presentify off.

Whiteboard

— You can draw on a blank board with a color of your choice instead of over your apps. It’s useful for sketching a quick diagram during a call.

Cursor Highlight

— It adds a ring, squircle or rhombus around your pointer, with click animations, so viewers can follow your mouse.

Spotlight and Zoom

— Spotlight dims everything except the area around your cursor. Zoom turns your cursor into a magnifying glass, which is good for small text.

Custom keyboard shortcuts

— Almost every action has a shortcut you can change, and the shortcuts work with Stream Deck.
