About DaisyDisk 4.34.2 For Mac for Mac
DaisyDisk is a disc space visualizer for macOS developed by Software Ambience Corp. The app is available from the Mac App Store, as well as a standalone download from the developer’s Web site, and has been an Apple App Store “Essentials” pick and a three-time “Best of the Year” award-winner. The app scans your Mac’s storage and shows the results in an interactive sunburst-style map, letting you visually see what files and folders are taking up the most space instead of sifting through a plain list of files. DaisyDisk differs from other applications in the speed of the scan and the clarity of the display. The developer states that DaisyDisk can scan drives up to 20 times faster than previous methods while using less memory during operation. Users can drill down into a folder by clicking into a segment of the diagram, or move back up by clicking the centre. Previews are available via the Space bar, QuickLook-style, so files can be inspected without opening another app. But DaisyDisk is not just for cleaning up the internal disc of your Mac, it can also scan external and network drives, and can even scan popular cloud storage services like Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive and Box.
