Terminal Madness - Awakening follows Crypto, a young and determined hacker chasing his dream of becoming the greatest hacker in the world. After finally finding a lead that could bring him closer to his goal, Crypto is trapped by the cunning Blackchain inside the CyberSphere, a digital reality where nothing is quite as it seems. Across five chapters, Crypto must use his hacking skills, sharp wit, and no shortage of humor to outsmart Blackchain's schemes, unravel the mysteries of the CyberSphere, and find his way back out before it's too late.

Gameplay follows classic point-and-click adventure conventions: players explore hand-illustrated locations, collect inventory items, and combine or apply them to solve more than 200 puzzles, many of which support multiple possible interactions per object for added depth. As the story progresses, players gain control of multiple characters, switching between their perspectives to advance the plot, while an in-game hint system offers gentle nudges for anyone stuck on the game's trickier, more lateral-thinking puzzles.
