Unusual Findings is a point-and-click adventure game about three teenage friends in the 1980s who discover an alien conspiracy in their hometown. Your choices as a player determine the relationships between the characters, what puzzles are available and how the story ends. Unusual Findings 1.0.32 Story
Three teenage friends - Vinny, Nick and Tony - are testing out a new cable signal descrambler in the 1980s when they accidentally pick up the distress call of an alien spacecraft that has crash-landed in the woods near their town. As the alien begins to pick off specific townspeople, the trio is dragged into trying to discover why it’s there and what it wants, all while dealing with friendship, small-town life, and a mystery soaked in retro sci-fi and horror-movie homage. The choices they make along the way affect both the friendship between the three boys and the eventual resolution of the alien conspiracy.
Unusual Findings 1.0.32 Gameplay
Players use a simple point-and-click See, Grab, and Talk system to explore 1980s-themed locations, examining scenes, collecting inventory items and combining them to solve environmental puzzles. Dialogue choices during conversations affect the relationships between the three protagonists which in turn open or close certain puzzle solutions, locations and story branches. The game combines old-school adventure game logic with some light hidden-object gameplay, leading players to one of several endings based on the choices they’ve made throughout the game.
