About Higher Plane SpaceWalk 1.2.2 for Mac
SpaceWalk is a MIDI effect plugin from Higher Plane, a small studio based in the UK, built specifically to generate smooth, luminous chord progressions for ambient, cinematic, and atmospheric music. Rather than requiring deep music theory knowledge to build convincing, evolving harmony, SpaceWalk lets producers generate flowing chord progressions at the turn of a dial, freeing them to focus on sound design and texture instead of chord construction. What sets SpaceWalk apart from more general-purpose chord generators is its specific focus on the kind of long, flowing chords with tied common notes that ambient and electronic composers need — a style many contemporary, club-oriented chord tools simply aren't designed to handle well. Its Evolving Chord Engine uses intelligent voice-leading to keep progressions natural and consonant, while controls for Sparseness, Suspension, and Deviation let users shape exactly how open, colorful, or organically varied the resulting harmony feels. Users can lock favorite chords in place while regenerating the rest, and drag finished progressions directly out as MIDI into their DAW.
