Polyresonator is a formant-sculpting resonator plugin developed by DSPTone, directly inspired by the resonator section of the classic Polymoog synthesizer — one of the earliest instruments to treat resonance itself as a tonal-shaping tool rather than a simple filtering byproduct. Available as a VST3, AU, and AAX plugin for macOS and Windows, Polyresonator requires macOS 10.15 or later, running natively as a 64-bit Universal 2 Binary on both Intel and Apple Silicon Macs. Version 1.0.5 continues the plugin's active post-launch update cycle, following earlier releases that added individual MUTE per band, a band SOLO switch, and a ParaDry (dry signal injection) mode, alongside CPU/RAM performance improvements and a true bypass mode that uses zero CPU when disabled.
