Audija SuperStutter

Audija SuperStutter is a live stutter and glitch effect plugin for Mac that records incoming audio into continuous buffers and trigger stuttered playback over 16 performance pads and a 4-pattern step sequencer. About Audija SuperStutter for Mac

Audija SuperStutter is a live stutter & glitch effect plugin by Audija, for producers & performers looking to add rhythmic, musically-timed stutter & glitch effects to anything in real time. SuperStutter is not a preset-browsing effect, but instead captures incoming audio on a continuous basis and allows users to trigger stuttered playback on musical pitch intervals, beat grid divisions, milliseconds or Hz – all mapped across 16 assignable performance pads and 4 sequencer patterns. SuperStutter is not your average glitch plug-in, however: it is designed for performance. The plugin features live input quantization, which allows triggered stutters to remain locked to the beat even when played out of time. This makes it equally useful for studio production and live electronic performance or DJ sets. It works on all sorts of audio material including vocals, drums, synths or full mixes. It’s available in VST3 and AU for Windows and macOS native on Intel and Apple Silicon Macs.

Key Features

Audio is always being recorded into eight separate 8

second buffers running in parallel, so when a “New Sample” event occurs, a fresh capture is immediately available, while the previous buffer is locked for editing.

Free mapping of stutter and glitch behaviours to any of the 16 pads to musical pitch intervals, beat

grid divisions or milliseconds or Hz for expressive, real-time triggering.

Fine

tuned control of grain pitch (±24 semitones with optional quantize) and envelope shaping allows for anything from subtle rhythmic variation to extreme granular sound design.

A built

in oscilloscope view lets users visually inspect captured buffers and stutter behavior in real time, useful for precise editing and sound design decisions.

The stutter can lurk just beneath the original signal, or replace it entirely depending on the intensity desired with a simple 0

100% wet/dry blend.
