About Pixelsnap 2.6.4 for Mac
PixelSnap is a screen measurement utility for macOS by MTW (Make The Web) that allows designers, developers, and other creative professionals to measure anything on their screen without switching between apps. PixelSnap doesn’t force you to use the built-in ruler of one design tool. It works across the entire system, so it works the same way when you are measuring an element in a browser, Sketch, Figma, Affinity, a PDF or any other macOS window. Version 2.6.4 removes support for the discontinued Adobe XD integration and includes minor fixes and improvements. The development of the app continues with the complete rewrite in PixelSnap 2. The thing that sets PixelSnap apart from measurement tools that are baked into individual design apps is its system-wide scope: real-world design work rarely happens inside a single app, and PixelSnap allows you to compare a live website to a mockup or check spacing across two different programs with the same consistent measuring tool across the board. The app can automatically snap to the smallest elements on screen, hold and display distances between multiple objects at the same time, and add snappable horizontal and vertical guides for checking alignment. PixelSnap has a native CleanShot integration so you can take screenshots of your perfect measurements for documentation or team handoffs. PixelSnap shows accurate real-world dimensions regardless of the zoom level displayed on your screen in supported apps like Sketch, Figma and Affinity Suite.
