About BrewStation 2.0.6 for Mac

BrewStation is a graphical Homebrew manager for macOS by hreinssondev that allows you to manage Homebrew formulas and casks without having to touch the terminal. BrewStation is not about memorising CLI flags and commands. BrewStation wraps the entire Homebrew application and package management experience in a native macOS interface that lets you browse, search, install, update and uninstall software visually. The app is under active development, and this is version 2.0.6. It requires macOS 13 or later and runs on both Apple Silicon and Intel Mac processors. The thing that really makes BrewStation more than just a front-end for Homebrew is the snapshot system. The app can take a full snapshot of the current state of the applications on a Mac and save it to a built-in snapshot library, which is essentially a “Time Machine for apps.” That same snapshot can then be copied to another Mac and used to install and restore an entire application environment with a single click. BrewStation is especially useful when setting up a new machine. The app also provides real-time curated insights into trending packages and applications in the Homebrew community, so users can see what is popular outside of their installed software.
